New start of 2017,

It has not passed many days of 2017, just a first week, but it has been nice so far for me. Week has been started with work and Thursday evening, we packed our car and took our small fur boll with us and drove to west coast. It was nice to see our friends again.

On Friday morning, after a good breakfast. Me and Sally took a morning trip and enjoyed a nice and sunny winter morning. After our round, we took a visit to a local coffee roastery. I had before once got to taste a good coffee from there and got a hint to visit it. So, I took a chance and ringed the bell on the door, since they have no ordinary opening hours and if they are home, then they will open the doors. Guess, who was a lucky one - little me :) This was one time, I had luck with me and they were at home. So the owner open the door and I could come in. After bit more than a hour, I could admit, that I was in a bit of heaven - coffee heaven. In Kränku in Gotland, I am in a bit of tea heaven and now I can say, that in Slöinge, I am in a bit of coffee heaven. Most of all, I was really happy over that opportunity. Just that they took their time one bank holiday day, is remarkable. Something, what you do not see every day and time. Also, that they were willing to show their place. Another thing, what you do not see very often. Usually people are afraid, that business idea will be stolen and used by someone else. That is not a issue on my case. I just have a interest for coffee. It is for me interesting, just to get to know more about it. Something like we got to know in one of the Lions Zone meeting about chocolate. Love to learn, new things.

To visit Slöinge Kafferösteri, was a moments for myself. I am very happy over the possibility to see the roastery. It was a new and interesting experience for me. That was giving me a lot of good emotions. The tips for how to make a good coffee, so that I could get out all good taste as well scent, was interesting to know and was good new knowledge for me. Something I took with me and planning to fix it somehow. Most interesting was see one of the coffee brewery method. It looks out as a bit of chemistry lesson, but he explained that coffee tastes really good.  So, perhaps something to try and taste on my future.

In the evening, me and Sally took another long walk outside. We really enjoyed this nice winter day. We enjoyed to see that place in the evening light as well and took some pictures. After trip, was time for dinner and later bit boardgames and an old Swedish movie. Just a beautiful Friday.

Today morning on the other hand was totally different weather to wake up. During a night, snow had fall in down. The cold had left, it was around 0 degrees. Suddenly winter had arrived. Me and Sally, was the 2 ones, who was really happy. We love the snow and winter. Only it could be colder. Would love it much more with minus degrees and snow only :)

Before, we started our trip towards to home, we had to visit a ice-cream shop. All the problems, will be solved with a little bit of ice-cream <3 :) At least some of them. Coffee with vanilla ice-cream, was a perfect solution for one nice Saturday :P At least in my world :P
After that we drove further towards home. One more stop on the road was to visit Tommy´s cousin and his lovely family. It was nice to see them again. Also much has happened since we met last time.

I have noticed, if you are having a good times, when time just flies. Even in that case - time just passed and we needed to leave them all and drive back to home. We had some miles ahead waiting for us. Hopefully, we can visit them soon again.

Finally back at home, we had bit to do before we could take a evening and just to relax. Take short moment for ourselves. For Tommy with book and TV,  and for me, with computer and bit TV as well.
It has been active and good weekend so far. Tomorrow, for me it will be planning for next Lions year and prepare for new upcoming week. Another week, what having interesting things with it and a lot of new happenings. Something, what I am looking forward to.

Fantastic midsummer,

Another weekend is on the way to end. It has been a midsummer weekend in Sweden. A little bit different compared with Estonia, since there is always the same days midsummer, here in Sweden on the other hand is always one Friday and Saturday. 
This midsummer have been fantastic. In midsummer evening we had friends over and started with traditional midsummer lunch. A Swedish traditional midsummer lunch is new potatoes, sour cream and herring. For that you have to have a small glass of midsummer snaps and of course beer. For me, who does not like Swedish sweet herring, I had cold smoked salmon and turkey sausage. So many asks why I do not like herring here in Sweden. Answer for that question is easy. In some how, in Sweden it is much more sweet than I am used from Estonia. That makes that I miss herring from Estonia or I have to make my own marinade. This year I missed that to do on time, since I was almost 10 days in hospital again.

After lunch one of our friend went home to change the close and came back. In the evening I had made a potato salad.  Bit mix from traditional Estonian and Swedish one. We had barbecued chicken for it and tomato salad with cucumber and red onion. Last one is something I have really started to love. It gives so good taste to salad and to the rest of the food.

Another tradition in Sweden for midsummer is a strawberry cake. Dessert for us instead this year was an Irish coffee and strawberries. Top of that we had a bonfire what is another tradition I have with me from Estonia and Apples to Apples, a board game for interesting evenings.
Yesterday we had an cozy midsummer day. We had relaxed morning and lunch. Took a small trip to Jönköping. Visited our allotment. Looked how our vegetables have grown, since I could had not visited it since my visit on hospital, but yesterday I could do it. During a day I read my new book from E L James. Grey has arrived. A Christians story :D 

On the evening I got a visit from Estonia. My old schoolmates from Jänedas time visited us. They had finished their object in Norway one day earlier and decided to take another road to Stockholm and it was through Jönköping and us. Felt actually very good. We talked bit about our school time, what have happened since we finished our agricultural education and life after that. We made another new memories. One thing I am actually very sure. My dog found definitely a new weakest link. Sally got so much sausage and chips and strawberries that I and Tommy was surprised that, this small cute ball of fur did not got sick. I think Sally was on the seventh heaven. Her life can be good sometimes in her opinion. We had really good time with food, laugh and talks. As I wrote before. A new memories was made.

Today after breakfast, we followed the guys to Ikea and after that we took a relaxed day at home with our little family. Sally has been very tired :) Not surprised. She was woke until I went to bed around 1 am. We have had good walk with Sally. Well needed as well after a good food.

Happy girl in a good day,

Today I am a happy girl. I have got a visit from my home. Today morning I got a phone call from my family member. That call made me very happy, so I changed a little bit my plans and could do everything, what I had planned for today.
Since in outside the weather is as it is, when I had made a plan to fix a bit spring to my home. I had started it with the beautiful tulips on the table together with candles and a friendship stone I got from a very good and close person to me. So when I got my medicines from pharmacy, I also went through the shop and bought a new tablecloth to my coffee table. When I had put it out, it felt like spring has arrived to my home. In the same time the weather outside made me bit sad. I love winter and January is a winter month. It means, that I would prefer to see snow and some minus degrees nor plus and rain. But it is not much to do. Since I can't change weather and weather conditions, when I just have to accept it.

I also got my package today :) I can say only one thing - Me, very happy.  I got my new jacket for spring together with some other clothes from Peak Performance. I have never had opportunity to buy a good quality clothes for me, since I was too big and usual size is up to 44 or in some brands up to 46 for beautiful clothes. Now I have so big opportunity to do it. I can go whatever shop I want and buy whatever I want. It feels good, it feels strange but it makes me happy. I am happy that I have got help with my overweight and that I have got a support from my home, from my other family members and from my close friends as well the new ones who has came into my life. Alone that road would have been long, lonely and very hard and I think I would never could manage it. And to choose a bright and light colors, was never on my list either. Before it was dark colors, now it is totally different. I choose bit lighter colors and in some reason my favorite color has became a pink. Me and pink before was something I never could even dream of. Now, I just like to wear it and other colors like orange, blue, light red and other colors.
On the end I feel my day has been fantastic. To have a possibility to talk in Estonian, to spend time with my family has been very good. I did not let the negative part to take over the positive feelings. It is not fun to start to take a strong morphine based painkillers again after I have been clean bit over a 2 months. Life is like that. Nothing to do. Just accept it.
