Personal towel for a child,

For a while back, my husbands colleague became a father for a small baby girl. My husband asked me, could I do small towel for that baby girl. So, I made. Decided to even make a small ballerina teddy on it. Here is result now. Towel size is 30x50 cm. I also decided to make embroidered hanger for it, so that it would look more nicer.  It can have different motive on, so, if you feel interested to have it, just mail me and we solve it :)

Table cloth,

1Last week, I made one new table cloth for our sofa table. I had made in Christmas 6 table cloths for at embroider something for them. One was left over and I had tough for a while, what should I embroider on it. In the end, I decided to do a pattern from Estonia.

The originally this pattern is used on our national costumes in the town I was born. This town is 14 kilometers from the town we lived and I went to school. 

Why I chose that one, simply, missing bit home and family and on the other hand it looks simple and it looks nice. If someone is interested to have same kind of table cloth, just mail and order :)

The Iron Lady,

Today me and my husband celebrated his birthday first with dinner and after that we went to cinema. We had plan to go and look The Iron Lady, since we both wanted to see it.
The Iron Lady was perhaps this, what we had waited or expected. It had very different approach for the case, humans etc.  We both thought that it had too many scenes, when she was old and that made us in some point to feel very confused. The other scenes, when they showed the time she was young and her way to be the leader for the conservative party and later the Prime Minister of United Kingdom. She had that position little over 10 years and that has been longest in history. More about Margaret Thatcher can be read in Wikipedia.
On the actors view, when we both toughed that Meryl Streep played very well her role. I believe it must have been quite difficult role to play, since Margaret Thatcher has been one of the biggest front figure in Europe. I do hope, that she will get the nominated Oscar for the role.
I can recommend to go and look it. Just I think that visitor should be prepare, that in can be bit confusing.

Reportage in newspaper,

Today our local regional newspaper had and article about last years tax offices payments for companies who are helping private people with renovate their homes and clean their homes. Since our company works as well with those areas what Swedish Government is supporting through tax office, when we had honor to be contacted from the newspaper and they made reportage about it and wanted to hear also our opinion. Today they published it on Jönköpings Posten. It was an nice honor for us and we where bit happy even about it. That gave us also a bit of advertising. Will see :D Who knows :) Perhaps we will get more costumers now after that. We always have to hope it.

2012 so far,

We have arrived on the second part of January. 10 more days and we can say good bye to January and welcome February. I can admit, that January has started very fast and moved on with the same high tempo. So many things has been happen and probably so many other different things will probably happen. Some things will be positive and some things might not be the ones, we would like to have experience.
New year has been started perhaps not that way I would had liked or wanted, but as we say - what does not kill us, makes us stronger.

New year has arrived and that will also bring us more clear answers about our wish to adopt. Sometimes during a march, we should get our final answer. We both hope, that this will be positive, but we can't know it before, we get it on our paper.
I also hope that during this year I can visit home in Estonia. The time between Christmas and New Year, when we was in Estonia, it was so good and so nice. Made me understand how much I have missed my family. With work wise  we are hoping to reach our small goals.
It has been also busy time. I have not had time to even put up pictures from my handwork or trip to Estonia. Both school and work and other things are taking time away. Will see, how it all is going.
I hope you all have arrived back to reality after holidays and celebrations. Will see how this year will end.
