Kosta,

This weekend I visited a nice small village called Kosta in southern part of Sweden. It is more than 16 miles from my home. Than makes 160 km because 1 mile in Sweden is 10 km.
Visiting Kosta was very interesting for me, but I must admit, I really liked it. I had once possibility in couple of years ago to visit glassblower in Estonia and it was interesting to see this time how it is. I loved it. I really like glass and products made of glass. Most what Kosta is known are Kosta Boda glassblowing and its designers. A little bit more about Kosta Boda can be read here and more about Kosta Bodas products can be read here and products can also be bought via online shop. In Kosta is also more shops. Information can be found here.
Kosta is a part of Glasriket. More about other places what belongs to Glasriket can be read here.  I must admit, that was just a beginning for me to visit the Glasriket. Already now we are planning to go visit also other places what belongs to Glasriket, because we found it fascinated and absolutely fabulous. It was really interesting and we want to see more. Next visit to Glasriket will be before our wedding, since we want to find a special present for us.

This time in Kosta we visited also some shops. It ended, that we bought home 1 big dish and totally 4 candle holders. Plus we bought some things to kitchen. It felt good, because in the end, we saved quite much compared if we would had bought all those things from the shop. That made my fiancé happy :) And when he is happy, I am happy:P

Our 2 pink transparent candle-holders and pink transparent big dish:

Those 2 pictures are just a experiment with camera what I made, when I took a picture of my new candle holders by Kosta Boda.
