All Saints' Day

Today is again All Saints' Day and that has been celebrated in so many places in Sweden as well in other countries. Including in Estonia.
As it is usual, people visiting the graves and light a candle to the closest ones. Even I was in churchyard today and we lighted candle to our beloved ones, who have left us and went to the other side of the world. I think that it is nice that people can visit churchyards even if they don't have their relatives in particular churchyard, since they have memorial place in most churchyards and everyone can go and visit them.
This year I had two more persons to light a candle for. The latest person left us in October and we was his funeral service last Friday.  A nice ceremony with a lot of emotions. Sometimes it feels that life is unfair, but hopefully he got his inner peace now. That he looks down to us and laughs.
That is also a time to think about others who have left us. For me, I miss my mother to talk with. Sometimes I feel so sad, that I can't talk with her, but with 10 years it has been bit easier to take thoughts on her but that does not mean, that I do not miss her as much as I have done it before. At least I am happy that I could light a candle for her in memorial place and just think of her together with others. Now she is resting at least together with my grandmother and grandfather. My brother visited mums grave and lighted a candle for her. Hopefully soon I can do that. Time will show it.
Now, I will go and enjoy the evening with candles at home.
Have a nice evening,
                                   Love,
