Our days with Sally,

Now we have had Sally in our home for 3 days. Those 3 days have gone well and very fast. During this period, we have had busy times, but good and interesting. So many things have been happen and they have been good.Very good for our health at least. A lot of promenades has been made during a days. I know that this have helped me to sleep bit better and our small family member has been tired as well.

Sally has got also a friend. Little Tove. Tove is my friends and colleagues small 4 month old puppy. Last one wants to play with Sally, but Sally does not make it out of that wish. This does not mean, that they have not had good times.

Many also has asked, how does Sally co-operates with Wille and Greta, and we self are surprised here as well. They are co-operate very well. Respecting each other, no fights so far. They all seems to be very curious about each other, but so far they just have sniffed bit each other. Nothing else.

In Sunday we took our first long promenades. First my husband took one around our home area with his father and Sally. After work, we took much longer promenade out in forest by the lake and later one more promenade in our neighborhoods.

Yesterday I had Sally with me to work. It went very well. After we was done, we visited animal shop. It feels fun that it is one place, where you are aloud to go in together with your four paws friend. Seemed, that friend liked it :) We bought some stuff to her and reflex jacket, so that drivers can see her in the dark. She looked so cute :) Me liked it :D

Today we tried something completely different. We visited Café Bulldog in the City with Tove. It was so sad to hear, that they will close the café by the end of the march or even earlier. We liked service there. It was personal and it was very good. We and our dogs were very well treated. We still hope, that they will keep it open. It was very good to go and visit place, where you could go with your dog and have a cop coffee and our dogs got bowl with water and we could buy some dog treats for them.

After coffee, we took a long promenade in park. The weather was fantastic. Sunny and warm, just sometimes bit too windy. It would have been a crime not to be out in so nice day. Friends was sit on back seat. I am very happy that they are getting through well. That makes easier for us, when we have to take care of Tove in easter time.

Else it has went well. Small funny incidents has happen. Wille likes to take small chances to use the opportunity and  to sleep in Sallys bed, while Sally is not on the second floor. Same time Sally loves to take chances and climb to bed, when we are not in bedroom and don't see, what she is doing.
Now, it seems, that Sally wants to go to sleep. Looks us with very tired eyes.

Today we got home our newest family member. Our family members name is Sally :-)
So, who is Sally. Yes, our little Sally is an American Cocker spaniel. She is black and is nice and friendly. Today, she has been getting used to, with our home and got to know her newest friend Tove. She also got first contact with our two Persian cats. I was bit afraid for that meeting,  but I must admit - it went very well. That is very good.

Now, we will let her to get used with new people and home. That means also, that I have got new photo model :D It is harder to take pictures of animal, but the result can be very nice.

Congratulations Sweden,

It's a small baby girl!!!

Today where game the news, what a lot of people was wait. Swedish Crown Princess became a mother for a small baby princess. Seems that a lot of people was wait that to happen. Many hopes, that it will bring new times for the Royal family. Will see, what happens. Today, let people to celebrate that small girl. Tomorrow, will we get to know the name for the baby :)

Evening out,

In Friday evening I took time and spend bit time outside with camera. Both my husband and my friends/colleague was with me and even my friends small puppy Tove. I just wanted to take a little pictures of nature, since it has been a while, I have took out my camera and shoot something. This time I was have to settle with my compact camera, since system cameras batteries are dead, made that I could not use that camera. I was happy only, that I had my small camera with me and that I could take some pictures. That helped me to calm little down and in the same time just spend some more time out i nature, since the weather was absolutely fabulous.  It would have been crime, not to be outside and enjoy the sun. Sun, what I have missed quite a lot, since always has been raining or snowing or just been a cloudy days without sun. My small hope is that soon will be hopefully nice spring and more sunny days and evenings. Just missing spring and just to enjoy more time outside.  

Congratulations,

Yesterday I was send a congratulation greetings to my brother. Yesterday early morning he became a father for a small baby boy, who will be his fourth child.

Today, when we talked a little, when he told that the boy have got already the name. The name will be Carl Marten. All his children have two names and it seems nice that they will keep the traditions.

I have seen that cutie on picture. Time will show, will I even see him in real life. So far was the youngest daughter, whom I have not met yet. That small baby boy has been a third baby boy, who has born in our family in last half a year period.

Wonderful surprise,

In Saturday morning we got a mysterious phone call from flower shop. They asked about, are we at home during a day and do they can come through. We got surprised and wondered, who has send us the flowers.
I had been in city before they came. When they came and I opened paper around the flowers, when I got a big, but wonderful surprise. It was a nice and beautiful bouquet of tulips. In past years I have started to like tulips more and more.
First I was ask from my husband, did he send them to me, but he said many times that no, he id not do it. The card what came with flowers was in Estonian. But it was easy to think that he was behind it in first place, since once while I still lived in Estonia, he sent me bouquet of roses and when the card was also in Estonian :D
This time the flowers came from my dear friend and colleague. It was surprise, bit it was nice one. I was so happy to get them.

Apples and Elf's,

Who does not love apples and like elf's. I know, that I like both of those things :) Specially apples :) I am sure, if there was any pattern elf's and clementines, I would use that as well :D Since most winters are not passed without clementines :)

I think that cloth is very nice to take out on just before first advent or on the same day and keep as long as possible :) I like Christmas time. Just sometimes it feels very sad that it is only once a year :)
This table cloth went to my aunt. I tried to make something special to all of them and same time something bit different. 

Stars,

Sometimes when we dram, we are looking stars or just thinking about stars. I was put some stars to table cloth. Same as with hearts, that cloth can be used all around a year. Also this pattern can be used so many different places. Pattern comes from Husqvarna pattern card #163 Dimensional Decorations.
I used again read thread, just because table cloth has white background with silver stripes. I really liked fabric. Easy to hold, since it does not wrinkle when it is on table.

So many pictures are coming up from the works, I made for Christmas presents :) So, I hope that you all will have nothing against it. Just want to share my small works with all of you. This table cloth can be used both in Christmas time as well now in valentines day. I liked how the red hearts looked out on the white cloth. That motive can be used both on table cloth as well in decorative pillow case. Can be made also in different colors of thread, since I gave it away for Christmas, I used red and it is also nicer to see in that color, in my opinion :) Pattern comes from Husqvarnas card #163 Dimensional Decorations.

Bath towel,

For a while ago I sewed a bath towel for my cousins baby. I made even a hood for it, so that when mother dries him, she can cover his head with hood. It is also a way to keep baby bit more warm. Towel I did made was big and should have  a lot space :) It is 1,45x1,45 cm. I also embroidered teddy on it, just something different and also nice in the same time, it did not left towel just plain.

Personal towel,

As I mentioned logg just before, when I also made personal towels for my husbands cousin and his wife. Now I can say that all our family members has got personal towels as presents. Nice I think :) On the other hand, now I have to start to think, what would be next thing I could do as present :) Since there is enough time, I think that I can find out something.
Towel size for those towels is 30x50 cm. Now I have done so many different colors of towels and there is so many more possibilities, since even if towels have same color, the thread color can be different. There are different tones to chose between. So, if you want to have personal towel, just let me know as well what size towel you would like to have.

Cloth for bread basket,

Last week we visited my husbands cousin. I wanted to bring them a present something I have made self and looked nice as well. So I decided to make them as well small personal presents. I made cloth for bread basket and personal towels as well they got small present. I self think that it is nice to do self something, since when it is personal and on the other hand, no one else has the exactly the same thing.

I chose sunflowers as pattern. Lately weather has been nice and there has been no rain, but on the other hand it has been bit too cold and missing warm, made me to think to use something nice and beautiful. Also I wanted to made a different pattern, what I had used for my husbands other cousins present.
Size for that cloth is 45x45 cm. Fabric I used for it is linen. So, if someone is interested to have something nice to have bread on, just contact me and soon could you have something like that as well.

Table cloth for Christmas,

Now, after Christmas has passed, I can put up all the things, I made for Christmas presents for the family and friends. If I would had been put pictures out before, when they would had started to guess who and what :D Now after, they can't do it anymore, since they have got the presents already :)
This motive can be made so many different colors as well there can be used different backgrounds for flowers. Can admit, this motive has a lot of possibilities. Personal towel for a child,

For a while back, my husbands colleague became a father for a small baby girl. My husband asked me, could I do small towel for that baby girl. So, I made. Decided to even make a small ballerina teddy on it. Here is result now. Towel size is 30x50 cm. I also decided to make embroidered hanger for it, so that it would look more nicer.  It can have different motive on, so, if you feel interested to have it, just mail me and we solve it :)

Table cloth,

1Last week, I made one new table cloth for our sofa table. I had made in Christmas 6 table cloths for at embroider something for them. One was left over and I had tough for a while, what should I embroider on it. In the end, I decided to do a pattern from Estonia.

The originally this pattern is used on our national costumes in the town I was born. This town is 14 kilometers from the town we lived and I went to school. 

Why I chose that one, simply, missing bit home and family and on the other hand it looks simple and it looks nice. If someone is interested to have same kind of table cloth, just mail and order :)

The Iron Lady,

Today me and my husband celebrated his birthday first with dinner and after that we went to cinema. We had plan to go and look The Iron Lady, since we both wanted to see it.
The Iron Lady was perhaps this, what we had waited or expected. It had very different approach for the case, humans etc.  We both thought that it had too many scenes, when she was old and that made us in some point to feel very confused. The other scenes, when they showed the time she was young and her way to be the leader for the conservative party and later the Prime Minister of United Kingdom. She had that position little over 10 years and that has been longest in history. More about Margaret Thatcher can be read in Wikipedia.
On the actors view, when we both toughed that Meryl Streep played very well her role. I believe it must have been quite difficult role to play, since Margaret Thatcher has been one of the biggest front figure in Europe. I do hope, that she will get the nominated Oscar for the role.
I can recommend to go and look it. Just I think that visitor should be prepare, that in can be bit confusing.
