Finally it is a Friday,

Finally it is a Friday, I have waited for a half a year, is here. Actually all the weekend, what I have waited, is here. Sewing- and inspiration weekend. Time, where I can meet people who loves to make handcraft, to learn new things and most of all, to get some more inspirations.
Today we made a pillow case by using some different techniques - applications, embroidery, yarn couching and sewing. it felt so good to sit behind a sewing machine and just spend some good time and hours just for me. Time, to relax and forget everything else.
Tomorrow, it is new day and it will be full of handcraft as well. Hopefully  I will update with things again my blog, or I will write it on Sunday. We will see.
At least it is my way to celebrate my birthday. My own present for me.

New Embdoidery Card,

I think that there can't be never enough for me from nice and beautiful embroidery patterns :) I supposed to get it on Saturday, but again I missed the time and came to the shop half an hour after it was closed. In some way I always manage it with this shop and just on Saturdays. Perhaps, that other shops are opened until 15:00 and this particular shop is closing 13:00 :) Hopefully there comes a day I learn those times, but seems, that this day i long from me.

I am so happy, that I got that card home.  I loved this fine Christmas patterns what this card had. Last year I bought Christmas patterns from Husqvarna Viking and this year came even Pfaff out with ones. I felt like I am in heaven. On Wednesday I will plan to sit all day in my small hobby room. I have one day this week for me and it will go to handwork. Something else and interesting to do and also my way to have a peaceful moment and calm my stress down.

My first bra,

Another day is coming to its end and soon it is time for me to hug my pillow. Today was a last day for my sewing and inspiration weekend in Jönköping. For me, it was time to learn how to sew my own bra. It was all day course and I do not regret that I changed my previous booked course for that course. It was fantastic course. The course leader was very good. She had prepared to us all a personal sewing kit with different materials and colors.
To sew my own bra, was good exercise to learn to sew in stretch material as well as lace. For me it was bit scary, since I have not been a good friend with any stretch material, but I must admit, it went very well. I am so happy with the end result. Of course, I did make some mistakes,  but it is totally normal, since how else we learn to sew and for the first time, the result for me was perfect. It made me to decide, that from now on, I start to sew my own bras. No more need to buy, since then I can have personal bra, what anyone else does not have. Much more personal. It took it's time, but it was not very hard one.
For this year, this interesting weekend is over. That is bit sad. I really hope, that next year will it be again. I know, that I would be there, since it was so interesting, it was fun and I learned quite a much. But that was not the only reason. I also could meet with my friends and get some more inspiration. That is something what have generated several interesting ideas for some projects :) Hopefully soon I can do so much that I can feel more happy. Have missed my handwork but my shoulder makes that I can't still do as much as I want. Tomorrow I will go look after some things and then I will see what the result will be :P
Now it is time to look a bit TV and soon it is time to hug my pillow. Tomorrow I will update bit more my blog as well my facebook page for handcraft.

Me and my crazy hobby,

Today was another day in Bäckadal gymnasium for my handcraft weekend. I must admit, that I love to be there and to do, what we have done. I love handwork and I feel that I can hide myself from my worries and all the hard times. It is one thing what is very good for my soul.
Today I decided to learn more to know my wonderful Smarty :D I must say, I am not surprised that she got that name, since it seems that it is perfect name for my sewing machine since she is still smarten than me, but hopefully I will learn more to know my machine, than I did before.
Today, as yesterday I came home with a new embroidery card. I loved yesterday what we learned and that was the reason, why I bought one more embroidery card in felting technique. Tomorrow is last day for course and after that my Smarty will be back at home and I can hide myself behind it.

New embroidery card,

Today I started one very interesting weekend for me. A Sewing and Inspirational weekend. It is a third time VSM group in Sweden has that weekend and it is 3rd time for me to take part of it. For the first time I can be all weekend.
Today I also bought a new embroidery card to me. I can say, that I am happy :P So much interesting what can be make now :) I already have one project on my mind and hopefully soon I also can show the result. Depends how much my shoulder lets me to do something.

Bag for spring,

Today I was an inspiration evening in Jönköping in my dealer for my sewing machine. We was quite many today and it was actually fun. Always nice to meet other persons, who has the same interest for sewing.
Last time, I could not be there, because my shoulder, but since I planned to go this time, I did not do anything with that hand for a week, so that I could go there. Last time, so many had wished to make a bags and so, today we did it.
I am so happy for it. I had for a while wished to make a new bags for myself for spring and summer and for different occasions. Today it was just a start. More pictures from my bag can be seen in my handworks Facebook page. This bag will have couple of details more, but for now, I have to wait a bit, since the embroidery card I ordered shortly after new year, has still not arrived. Hopefully soon it will arrive and I can make final touches for it.
Next bag I will make, I will use bit different material from my home. Can´t wait it already :) When it is done, I can promise, that you will see the result.

Curtain,

Yesterday I finished finally my big embroidery project, what I had planned to do, since I bought a new table cloth to kitchen. It took several days and a lot of hours to do it, but now, when it is done, I am very happy over the final result. Most of all, I am happy that the result was more, than I had expected. It is beautiful. More pictures can be seen in my facebook page.
It also goes to order similar curtain, just mail me for more information.

Help needed,

I have plan to change my homepage for y handwork and what would be with much easier and shorter name as it is right now.
The requirements for new web address are:
- that it is easy name
- that it would be related with my handwork
- that it would be possible to understand or easy to use in all 3 languages - Estonian, Swedish and English. 
My brain has said a stop and I need my handwork facebook page liker's or anyone else who is willing to helm me, help with brainstorming for new page address. The address I have today is:

Napkin rings,

 

It is soon Christmas and Santa's workshop has been very busy for a while now. Last days I have made some different napkin rings what will be nice in Christmas table decoration detail but as well other times during a year, when you want to make a special feeling for your guests. It has been really fun to make them and and they are beautiful to decorate. I had flowers with sharp edge as napkin ring on our own wedding table and we gave to each guest one as a small memory from our wedding and it was really appreciated. At least it felt so. Handwork in Facebook,

Now I have finally took time and made Facebook page for my handwork. It as good to do. Showed how much I have already made but also there is more work what needs to be done, since not all pictures are up on the net.

After my exam, when I have bit more time for me, I will put up some more pictures of my handwork and will try to spend some more time behind my sewing machine. Soon is Christmastime and presents needs to be made :) It will be fun to see how it goes.
