Happy Easter!!

 
It is already in the beginning of April and Easter weekend has arrived. I would like to wish everyone Happy Easter!! Enjoy time with friends and family and people you care!!

Waiting for Spring,

...and I hope that soon it will be here. In Wednesday will Spring arrive even officially and I do hope that it will be again nice weather for that, as it has been already so far. Except today perhaps, since it has been rained and been windy and cold. On the other hand, that is also needed. It is so nice to see how grass is going green and soon leaves will come on the trees. It is a wonderful time.
In our home, but also outside seems spring to arrive and I must admit, I really like it. Can't wait, until all is green, it will be warm outside and that just can enjoy time outside with Sally and cup of coffee.

Those nice tulips partly I have bought self and the red/green ones, I did got yesterday from my husband. Sometimes it is worth to be winy :D When you will get some flowers. Like it.

Beautiful Candle Crowns,

Past 5 weekends, we have made candles with other members from Lions Club in Jönköping. That is one of the biggest income for our club, so that we could help people, who really needs to be helped.
Those candle crowns are on sale after summer, but can also be bought earlier. Today we could see, that it does not has to be used only in Christmas time. It is also a beautiful present on birthday.
This nice arrangement was made for a person who turned 100 years. I believe it has been wonderful to receive something very nice and simple. It does not have to be very expensive to be nice.
All those nice candle crowns are handmade. Everyone has put inside to them bit of their soul, so that not only we can enjoy it, but also so many others.
Last year sale, took in about 170 thousand Swedish crowns, what will go to help others.

Summer bag,

Yesterday evening, it was time for visit again an inspiration evening in one of our local sewing- and embroidery machine dealer. My new machine comes also from there.
Every one else made yesterday decorations for easter, me and my friend, we had own plans.
Last month, when  I was there, I saw that the person, who holds those courses, had nice summer bag, what she had sewed in quilting technique. Sine I like quilting technique as well, I have wanted to learn long time to learn to sew bags. So, we agreed, that this time, I can do it and I did it :)
Now, I can make more bags. This one is just a try, but, there will be more and different ones on the way :)

Easter Basket,

Sunday and yesterday evening I took time to embroider again. Missed that and felt, that I need some relaxing. I had found on the net pattern for a beautiful lace Easter basket and I wanted to try. I wanted to try it on several reasons. Most of all, that was beautiful and secondly, I have been curious to embroider lace and lace pattern.
I must admit, it took a lot of stitches. One basket has around 162 thousand stitches plus what goes for it, when you sewing it together.
Results are here. Now, just waiting new free weekend, so, that I could do one more by using tips I got yesterday. Here are results for this work. If you find it nice and you would like to have same kind of beautiful easter basket, when just let me know. I will fix it :)
