First day of a new year has been arrived for now. It feels nice and good to have a new year, what till bring us a lot new challenges in a life.
It came nicely with friends in Gothenburg. At midnight we had champagne and went out to look fireworks. Just spent a good time. Later in morning we started to drive back at home. Had small coffee stop at Borås. After arriving home was need to unpack and just relax. It felt good to be back at home. Could feel like a human, but tiredness is still inside, so that means, that it will be early night to bed, since tomorrow is a new day and a lot of other things what needs to be done :)
For me I have quite many things what I am waiting from this year. Also I hope that some will come true :) Do they come true, can say last day of a year and think how it has been, what has been good and what should have been different!

And here we are again :) Last day of a year in this year. On some hours we can have good food, nice company with friends and family and then, it will be time to say goodbye for 2009 and welcome 2010. Year what might bring a lot more changes in life and also good times.
Year 2009 has been quite well, if I don't think end of November, but other months has been nice. Biggest change for this year has been probably moving to Sweden together with my beloved boyfriend. Many things are new and has taken time to get used with it, but now I feel that I can say that I have started to feel myself here as home. it took bit time, but now I am happy and together with my sweetheart whom I love. It has been nice and wonderful year else. Have seen nice places, been with friends and family on holidays. Christmas was white only thing I miss is my Granny who passed away in end of November, but I hope and believe that she has good time together with my granddad, my mother and other people.
Hopefully 2010 will comes nice to everyone. May all wishes come true!

December,

Again here it is nicest month of a year, December. Time when people start to think what to give presents for Christmas, same time some places is still war and people will dream about peace. Last Sunday was 4th advent and now just Christmas is very close.
When to look out of window, when can easy get Christmas feeling. It is nice and white outside. All what can be dream about December month.
Also they say that elves are walking around and looking for a good children and making a list to who should get presents this year and who has not deserved it. But what is most important for me, it is, that I can spend this holiday with loved ones, and that in outside it is nice and all is covered with snow. It is all I have just wanted from this year. Just a white Christmas.

All Souls' Day

Couple of days ago, on the 2nd of November, we celebrated All Souls' Day. Day where all people, who had passed away was remembered just with a lighting a candles.
Bit about history of that day:
In Western Christianity, All Souls' Day commemorates the faithful departed. This day is principally observed in the Catholic Church, although some churches of the Anglican Communion and the Old Catholic Churches also celebrate it. The Eastern Orthodox churches observe several All Souls' Days during the year. The Roman Catholic celebration is based on the doctrine that the souls of the faithful which at death have not been cleansed from the temporal punishment due to venial sins, or have not fully been purged from attachment to mortal sins, cannot attain the beatific vision in heaven yet, and that they may be helped to do so by prayer and by the sacrifice of the Mass. In other words, when they died, they had not yet attained full sanctification and moral perfection, a requirement for entrance into Heaven. This sanctification is carried out posthumously in Purgatory. The Western celebration of All Souls' Day is on 2 November.
In Estonia, we used to celebrate it every year on the 2nd of November. So did I also here in my new home. Since I could not visit the graveyard and tend a light there, when I was instead tend a light at home. Thad subsidiary can be used as well and it is to be honest, quite common to use, since often the graveyards are further away and not close to visit and then instead it will be visit in weekend. I think, that it is quite nice memory, to light a candle and remember those, who are passed away.
