Happy Easter!

I would like to wish you all Happy and wonderful Easter. Spend a good time with your family and friends and just enjoy your free time. Take a time to yourself and enjoy good food, sun and just the things you love to do.
For me, it will be time with my family and friends. We will have a bit traditional food from both Sweden as well from Estonia. Some of the traditions are different between the countries, some of them are similar. One way it is very interesting that I have possibility to take part of different traditions and in the same time keep my own traditions a live as well. Especially since it feels that not many people like to keep their traditions alive. Actually it is bit sad, but in the same time it is also understandable that times are different and changing.
Now it is time for us att have a dinner and spend time with friends and family.

Juicy buns for coffee,

In Wednesday I baked some buns for coffee since I knew that I will get guests on Thursday and it would be good to offer home made refreshments for the coffee.  So, I decided to bake a little. This time it was a buns with vanilla. Good ones in my opinion.

Ingredients: 
50 g yeast
3 dl milk, lukewarm
1 ½dl sugar
1 krm salt
3 egg
225 g butter, room temperature
11–13 dl wheat flour
Filling:
150 g butter, room temperature 
1 ½ dl powder sugar
1 tsp vanillasugar
Decoration:
1 egg
pearlsugar

Amount of buns: 25-35 pieces. 

1. Crumble the yeast into the bowl. Add milk and mix until yeast is melted.
2. Add sugar, salt, egg, butter and flour, little bit on the time. Knead the dough hardly a fiew minutes. Let it rise under baking towel for ca 40 minutes.
3. Filling: Mix together all the ingredients. Make around 25-35 small portions to the plate and put it to freezer while dough is rising.
4. Knead the dough through and divide in to ca 25-35 bites. Make a ball of every dough bite and put them in to the aluminum molds and on the baking plate.
5. Take out the butter from freezer and pressure down one butter portion in each bun. Let buns to rise ca 25 more minutes. Turn own to 250 degrees.
6. Brush the buns with wiped egg and sprinkle with pearl sugar. 
7. Bake the buns in the middle of the own. Let them cool down on the bars.

Hello April,

It is Wednesday and we said in the morning Hello to an April. 3 months from 2015 has passed and just 9 to go until New Years Eve.
Day has brought a mixed feelings. Have had better days but even thought it has been bit hard day for me, it also have brought with it a good moments.

I got a suprise call today when I was in city. While I was in city, got I phone call and a question am I at home. I would have got a visitor if I would have been home with a Easter flower. Now I got that beautiful flower, when I arrived home. That made my day bit more better after one phone call. Thank you for that beautiful surprise. It was so wonderful to get it.

I also had good visit to cinema. It helped me to take my minds of from the home and from other things. I could go out and do something different than usually. It was time to see: The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. I liked first film and wanted very much to see the second as well. I must say, that I did not have to get disappointed. It was a good film. In my opinion even bit better than first one but in some how in the end I felt it would be nice to see a third film as well. Will see what will happen. Will there come third one as well or not.
Film had again parts of good humor and parts with thoughtful thoughts. A good mix of relationships, friendships and people. In my opinion it gave a good amount everything and also good amount mixed emotions. Something what was needed today.

Also got a new book with todays post today. Another book based on Downton Abbey: Lady Catherine, the Earl, and the Real Downton Abbey by Lady Fiona Carnarvon, Countess. It will be intresting to read that book as well. First one was interesting. I love Downton Abbey series and it is interesting to read about the real people behind it from that environment. Next book after I finish the book I read at the moment. Me happy and like it.
Now it is time to eat a little bit and when read a bit. After that time to say good night. Tomorrow will be new day and I have my oral examination in private law. Hopefully I can manage it.

Step closer,

Today after I came home from city and took in the post, when I got a small surprise. It was a very good surprise. My T-shirt for my first run has arrived. It feels so unrealistic but also very good. One step closer for my first run and it feels so good and in some how so right to celebrate my year and that I am alive. That I did not lost my life even thought I was so close for it. I think it is good way to celebrate my year. It is just bit more than one month to go. On the 16th of April I will go and get my number. I can't wait it even thought I am a little bit terrified over it. So many thoughts and questions runs through my head. Will see how it goes. As I have wrote before. It is my first run after over 25 years. So it is a beginning and it feels a good beginning.

An active weekend,

Another Sunday evening has arrived and Monday morning is not very far. It has been a very good and quite active weekend and I have enjoyed every moment on it. Those kind of weekends I would love to have more.

Yesterday morning after we woke up, we took a trip to Ulricehamn. It would had been a crime not to go out on that wonderful sunny weather. So plan was to take a walk by the Åsunden and when visit my very good friend. That was exactly what my soul needed. It feels always so good to see her and spend time with her and just to talk and have a cup off coffee.

Before coffee break we visited city park. Much smaller than in Jönköping, but same cozy and also has those small old buildings. It was just fantastic to see some new places and just enjoy free clean air. As I told before, would have been crime to sit in on that kind of wonderful sunny warm spring day. Same time I could spend bit time together with my husband and once in a while it is well needed and it had quite a while since we had our trip last time. I also did not want to go alone, since it is not something the doctors have advised.

After a good walk and playtime in park we went in to have a cup coffee and get bite food before we started to drive back towards Norrahammar. A good bite of spongecake and biscuits :) Nothing hits homemade. Will see, what I can offer back on Thursday when Josefine comes to Norrahammar and to Jönköping. It will be hard to beat those good biscuits. So, I have to found out something good as well or I can nicely ask my husband to bake something good for us since he is actually very good on baking. Thank you sweetheart for the wonderful time with you. Always so good to see you and to talk with you. Can't wait for Thursday. Would like to have it already.

After we came home, it felt like spring had really arrived to our garden. So many flowers had started to bloom.  It was just a beautiful moment in my opinion. Daffodils, crocus and mini iris. Spring feeling just what it is needed once in a while.

 

Yesterday afternoon we also decided to open barbecue season. Mmmmm. I was in food heaven. For the first time in my life I made my own barbecue glaze and it came out very good. So I decided that it will not be just only one time I will make it by my self. From now on, I will start to make every time my own glaze. Even my husband loved it and it tasted bit this and that and result after barbecue was just amazing :) The evening was finished with a good film and company. The Hobbit was showed in TV and we decided to look at it.

Today was a sleeping morning, since we had to turn the clock. Spring time started officially, but weather outside had forgot how spring should look out. It has been raining quite a much today. Nothing at all to compare with the weather from yesterday. So it has been a perfect day to make some chores, what has to be done but also some, what I enjoyed to do.
After we came home from city and shopping, we finally mounted together a small greenhouse, what I got from my husband on Tuesday. A perfect for me to my small cultivation of flowers and other plants. Hopefully on some weeks I already can see a little bit how the result will be. Since it is first time for me to do so many plants by my self, when my expectations are not very high, but hope dies last, I have heared. So, I am happy to see how the end result will be. Of course my husband has to have some green fingers during summer, when I am not att home on a one month period. It will be interesting to see how it goes.
So, I have really enjoyed my weekend. Soon will new week start. Short week, since easter weekend, but as well very active week for me.  Some visits and coffee breaks, same time new subject at school starts and of course my oral examination in law.
I hope that all of you will also have a wonderful new easter week and will enjoy it as well as enjoy last hours of Sunday evening.
